[30 Nov 2023], Hong Kong – Empyrion DC’s SG1 Dodid Data Centre received the “Data Centre Operations Team” award in Southeast Asia at the W.Media Asia Pacific Cloud & Data Centre Awards 2023. The black-tie gala event saw a turnout of more than 150 industry participants from across Asia.
This award was given to SG1 Dodid Data Centre in Singapore, in recognition of its best-in-class operations standards through the implementation the Uptime Institute Management & Operations (M&O) Stamp of Approval, one of the industry’s highest benchmarks for operational excellence. The award is a strong testimony of the team’s commitment in ensuring consistent and rigorous data centre procedures to maintain uptime, resiliency and reliability for its customers.
SG1 Dodid is an Uptime Tier III certified 12.5MW data centre located in close proximity to the Ang Mo Kio and Serangoon cluster in north-eastern Singapore. The facility has also achieved the BCA-IMDA Greenmark (Platinum) certification for New Data Centres, the highest accolade in the green building rating system from the Building and Construction Authority (BCA) in Singapore.
